First of all I would love to say thank you to all my veiwers, I think it's really cool that you all read my blog. :)
I would also like to wish you all a Merry Christmas! Today I am going to write about Christmas, this will be based upon what my Pastor was talking about at my youth a couple weeks ago. I would like to thank my youth Pastor, you always give amazing sermons and I learn alot from you! Enjoy!
The true meaning of Christmas. It is not about the presents, the food, or Santa Claus, and no- it is not about Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer or Frosty the Snowman either. Instead it is all about our saviour.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16,17
Christmas is about giving- God gave us his one and only Son, can you imagine that? How hard also must it have been for Jesus who was in heaven with his Father; to leave all of that and come to earth and become a man, just so that he could be tortured and die. All for our sake so that we could also one day join him in Heaven. That is the best gift to be given; for all our sins to be forgiven, and to be loved. The gifts, food, and stories are all fun traditions at Christmas; but please, don`t let that become your main focus. Keep your eyes on God, for HE is the true meaning of Christmas. So this Christmas; do not worry about yourself, or what you will be getting for Christmas. Instead worry about what you will be doing for OTHERS, just like Jesus did.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 2:3-5
God gave me his Son so I could be forgiven and live in Heaven with Him. So this Christmas I also have a gift to give. My first gift is that I would like to try my hardest to make the people I love, and the people I see all around me feel blessed. My second gift is to my Saviour/Dad. Yes, I am a Christian; but I truely mess up alot and don`t always live my live for the Lord like I should. So this Christmas I am making the commitment to try harder in my everyday life to live it to the fullest for my Lord. Dad, this is my gift from me to you, thank you for sending your Son to save me. :)

Trust God and PRAY
Something very interesting happened today, and it proved to me that God does listen and care about our prayers. I have a 3 year old little brother named Judah who likes to get into EVERYTHING. Our family keeps all our memories and photos and all that in a big plastic bin. There are some very sentimental things in there. Today Judah was downstairs getting into things as usual and decided to be destructive. He took 2 large jugs of laundry soap and poured them all into the bin of photos. As you can guess what that would do to the ink, completely destroyed! Now, the one thing that was most upsetting is that my Mom had a memory book inside the bin with photos of her Mom when she was a little girl growing up and such. When my Mom found this of course she was heart broken and just sobbing. I felt horrible so I went into my room and prayed that God would help calm her down and restore the lost memories. As we started going through the bin trying to find what we could save and still keep we found that there was one corner with no soap in it. Ironically in that corner, there just happened to be every photo of my Mom's that had been destroyed only these were better quality and better photos of her! God is truely amazing to have replaced that, especially since I know my Mom didn't even know she had copies of those photos. Always be willing to put your faith and trust in God :) he will provide. Although things may not always turn out the way we wanted or expected them to, they will turn out in the end. Because God has a purpose and a plan for every little thing.
Praise the Lord for he is good! Also never forget to pray to God every day. He loves us and love to talk to us, so we should also talk to him :)

My Prayer Of Faith
Dear God,
Please help me to remember you
In my every day events that I do
Sometimes I know I tend to fret
Over little things, and I easily forget
That the true meaning of everything
Is the one I love, the one true King
Lord, when you are I are here together
We can overcome, any sort of weather
Please help give me patience and understanding
So that this relationship will stand to be lasting
And also, Dad, help me to give you all my love
So that one day I can come with you to the above
Just so I may sit and worship you at the foot of thy throne,

Why I Believe In God
Why do we believe in God, and what is the point? Now, this is more than just asking people to tell me that they believe in God because it is the right thing, and they get “warm fuzzies” inside when they experience God. No, I am wondering why do you or should you believe in God, do you have anything to back up you opinion, and where do you get your sources from? Well there are a couple points to this; there is the emotional, which is also the faith aspect. There is the scientific and logical view, and then there is just our own opinion. For many people, believing in God may seem very far-fetched, But what seems even more far-fetched is that there are people that actually believe that gases or a molecule can mutate into a living being that can breath, think, and move independently. Well, let’s say that it did, but then yet another one forms and just happens to fit perfectly with the other to the point that it sparks chemistry and is able to re-produce even more of these beings together. What are the odds of that and doesn’t that seem even more so unbelievable than believing there is a God that created it all for a purpose? As Lee Strobel talks about in his documentation “The Case for a Creator” a man named Stanley Miller attempted to re-produce the earth’s early atmosphere in the 1950s. He worked on an experiment pumping gases into enclosed glass and using electric discharges; after five days Stanley got his positive results, a few amino acids had formed. Many held Miller’s “creation” as proof the essential components of life could have formed in the oceans billions of years ago. Although now, this experiment has been hourly discredited; the problem with his experiment is that is contained hydrogen which being very light would have escaped into outer space. Gravity is not strong enough to hold it. As well as the fact that the earth’s earlier atmosphere would have most likely have consisted of what we see coming from volcanoes these days, namely Carbon Dioxide, Water Vapor, and Nitrogen. The same experiment using these different gases has been repeated time and time again; including by Stanley Miller, yet the result always comes as a negative. Even if Miller’s experiment were valid you are still light-years away from making life. It comes down to this: no matter how many molecules you can produce with early earth’s conditions, you’re still nowhere near producing a living cell.
Why do I believe in God? I believe in God because it is what I grew up on, it is what I know. I have experienced the love of God as well as seen with my own eyes his works in my life and works in people’s lives around me. I have scientific reasons to believe in God, as well as the fact that every aspect of life points to a creator. As written by Patrick Marks in the book “Someone’s making a Monkey out of you”:
“In the 1800s Charles Lyell published a book called “Principles of Geology”. In this book he said that the natural process of rain, snow, ice, and other types of erosion have been happening at the same slow pace as long as the planet earth. He was sure all mountains, oceans, and canyons could all be explained by the slow process of nature that we see around us. William Whewell called this idea uniforitarianism, which means “The Present is the Key to the Past.” The truth is, the idea of uniforitarianism has some serious problem. Most major land forms that exist today cannot be explained by today’s weather and erosion rates. In fact, there are many land forms that cannot be explained by even scientists. For example, the Hudson River Canyon, a vast cut into the earth that goes 15,000 feet deep; that’s almost three miles straight down, and to top in off the whole thing is under water. Another one is a completely flat plain of rocks called the Tibetan Plateau, which has fossil sea shells in it. The entire plateau is uplifted several miles above sea level.”
Now, how can these be explained by anything but God? I think we should believe in God because there are many things that point to a creator as well as it tells us in the Bible that we should believe in him and love him because he was crucified as well as loved and believed in us first. I think these are all many good reasons as to why we should believe in God.
For many Christians the simple emotional based opinion is good enough for them, now normally this is also fine for me, but under circumstance that an evolutionist or atheist, or even just simply a non-Christian friend from school were to ask you “Why do you believe in God, and what in the point?”. I think it would be necessary to know the answer, have facts and scientific reasoning behind it, and know where your sources come from.

Change In Plan
If you have read my blog before then you will most likely have noticed that I changed it around.. a lot! It is because I have a tendency to be a little negative sometimes, and it is not good. So first thing I will write about that God is teaching me, is why it is not good to be negative. First of all, negative thoughts leads to negative speaking, which can be very hurtful to others. The Bible is very clear in many verses that negative speaking and thinking is no good, what-so-ever!
If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless. James 1:26
But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. Matthew 15:18-19
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 1:12
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Philippians 4:8
I think those verses clearly state how negative thinking and speaking can cause problems for you and the people around you, as well as how positive and Godly thinking and speaking can be uplifting for you and the people around you. It is also pleasing to the Lord, which is our goal as Christians.
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29

Wake up!
This morning my little brother Judah and I were sent in to wake up my other brother Nick. I know how Judah can be so before we went into the room I said "Judah, be nice!" He smiled at me all cute like and said "ok!" Uh-huu... REAL nice alright, the second I opened the door Judah ran in screaming, started jumping on Nick, then he lifted up Nick's shirt, started slapping him and yelled "WAKE UP TERD!" If this is Judah's way of being nice, then I wouldn't want him to EVER wake me up O.o hahahaha.. Children, ya gotta love em!
